Ok....so...wow. The amount of love, support, and comments I got from my previous post has been INSANE. So insane that I felt compelled to address it. Like an actual college basketball team used my article for a meeting, which I still have not gotten over (shoutout to the Texas A&M Corpus Christi Islanders). I have NEVER had so many people read one of my posts or reach out to me...and the reaction has been incredible. Every comment that I have gotten has been so supportive and kind and I just want to say that I TRULY APPRECIATE IT. I DO NOT TAKE THIS LIGHTLY AT ALL. All of my life I have known that I was meant to be a writer and the fact that now people are starting to notice me is amazing. Going from being a kid who couldn't even raise her hand in class to now being able to talk about my struggles freely and without fear has been an terrifying yet amazing journey. Sooo in conclusion...thank you. Even if this is your first time on my blog thank you. Knowing that there are people out there that personally understand and can personally relate to my work gives me a feeling far beyond joy. I promise to stay active on the blog in the midst of me binge-watching shows and eating my body weight in brownies this summer. I love y'all.
