On New Year's Eve 2016, I decided that it was time for me to create a blog. It was time to share my thoughts to the world and no longer torture my friends and family with my hour-long rants (crying included) about my favorite movies, TV shows, and musicians. I am making this blog to share my feelings with the world and hopefully find people who are just as insane about these things as I am.
Before I explain what this blog is going to be, I feel like I need to give some background on myself. Soooo..... what's good. My full name is Maddie (real name Madelyn) Simone Gee and I have been obsessed with the media since I came out of the freaking womb. Everything about Hollywood amazed me at a young age and it still does. The celebrities, the glitz, the glamour, and especially the movies and TV shows they produced. I can confidently say that I am happiest when watching a movie or TV show. I can also confidently say that I will be the most lit person you will ever meet about TV or movies (I am about music too but that's coming up). I have sobbed, laughed too hard, and thrown furniture over a scene. It's that serious to me. My dream is to be a movie/TV show critic for a popular magazine (ex. Entertainment Weekly) and then going on to write my own movies and TV shows. Definitely praying every night that this becomes a reality.
I also LOVEEEE music. It has been a giant part of my life also since I came out of the freaking womb. My parents have always been laser- focused on having a musical family. I played piano and studied theory for six years and clarinet for three years. Along with being a musical prodigy (I am TOTALLY kidding), I listened to music to keep me sane. My music taste is definitely all over the place. I am the type of person that will be listening to Boyz II Men one minute and My Chemical Romance the next (I was BLASTING "Welcome to the Black Parade" all of sixth grade). I love everything except country (sorry y'all) so music is definitely gonna be a big part of this blog.
Ok so here's what this blog is gonna be - I am gonna write my thoughts on movies, TV shows, and music. That's pretty obvious. But also there might be days where I write about things I am going through while at college or just random things I am thinking about. So it's gonna be a mixture of a lot of different things but it's gonna be lit. I am SOOO excited that I have finally got this blog started and I hope y'all enjoy reading it as much as I love writing it.
